June 13, 2009 we went with Sisters Hunsicker and Turner to the Snowflake Temple. This sculpture is on a round-about on the way up to the temple. They went to a lot of work to landscape the area for a big expensive housing development. The flower is one I saw a month ago and wondered what was. At that time it was not blooming. This is the blossom- about dime size. Anyone want to venture a guess what it is?
